East coast native Jonathan Gordon attended Ithaca College, studying film production. He started out as a salesman for a leading wholesale apparel company, but his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own company, Julie Ann Apparel. Their ecommerce division became a thriving website. Out of necessity for reasonably priced, quality content, he developed iwebcontent. “Through well-written content we help clients engage their customers, build their brand, and develop leads.” Jonathan lives in Plano, TX, with his wife Julie and their two Labrador retrievers, Sam and Chase. When he’s not on a meeting with a client, he can be found at the dog park or taking photos.
Karen Tunnell, iwebcontent’s Creative Director, received her B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Texas. After positions as copywriter with several DFW retailers, she launched a 20-plus-year career with JCPenney as Senior Copy Manager for web and direct mail. Karen joins iwebcontent with diverse experience in writing, editing, project management and creativity. “Content is more than just spell check and keywords. It’s also the voice of your company speaking one-on-one with your customer.” Karen and her husband Steve live in Plano, TX, with their chocolate lab, Emily. What does the ardent writer do in her free time? She’s working on the fourth of her three published novels.
Project and Listing Manager
Julie Gordon is a Project Manager and in charge of topic and keyword research plus listing distribution for iwebcontent. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Psychology. Julie loves the diverse content she encounters through her contribution to the company. “Not only do I have the opportunity to support my husband’s business, I get to help other small companies thrive, while learning something new and exciting in the process.” When Julie's not researching blog topics, she loves to read, stay active with Tabata training and weight lifting, spoil her 2 beloved labs, and of course, brag about her two successful sons.
Project and Reputation Manager
Lesley Vaught received her BA in Literature from the University of Texas at Dallas after her English teacher inspired her to pursue a career in writing. Since college, she worked as a freelance editor for science fiction, fantasy, and young adult authors before joining the team. “Working for iweb has been like a Master's Degree study in content and social media marketing. I've learned so much and continue to learn every day, but my favorite part of the job is the lasting relationships I've built with our clients.” When Lesley isn’t busy writing, editing and talking to clients, she enjoys decorating her new house in Cincinnati and spending time with her husband and 4 fat cats.
Aaron Sonego’s 12-year career in wholesale diamond sales has allowed him to travel the world, and work within many different markets. This priceless experience has given him countless skills that translate seamlessly to the digital marketing arena. He is dedicated to maintaining long-term business relationships. “Ensuring that my clients are happy with the services and products I am selling them is of the utmost importance to me.” As a resident of Richardson, Texas, Aaron loves being outdoors with his lab-beagle mix, Holly. He also enjoys spending time with his family and feeding his passion for music by attending local concerts and adding to his extensive record collection.
Web Development Specialist
Paulina is a native of Imperial Valley, CA. She earned her degree in Digital Graphics Design Engineering at CETYS University, Mexicali, B. C., Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Management at City University of Seattle. She has years of experience as a freelancer in web development for a variety of B2B and B2C clients. When asked about her recent position at iwebcontent, she said, “I know a lot of my work is behind the scenes, but that’s okay. I really enjoy being able to use my technical know-how to solve web issues for our clients.” Paulina lives at home with her family in the Golden State. When she’s not taking care of her menagerie of cats and dogs, she collects and solves Rubik’s cubes and other twisty puzzles.
Kimberly Turtenwald, attended Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee where she studied editing and publishing. She began her career in the website content field at Demand Studios for several years before becoming a writer for iwebcontent in 2009. In her years with the company, she moved through the ranks from writer to editor to her current position as Content Manager. “It’s amazing to watch the transformation from a few simple keywords to a full piece that helps our clients achieve success. We’re making a difference and that’s a great feeling.” Kimberly, a Wisconsin native enjoys camping trips, reading and spending time with her three children.

Ashley Ridge, writer and project manager for iwebcontent, earned a BA in Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University. Since graduation, she worked as a freelance writer for several educational publishers before joining the team. “After I graduated, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do next – my career options seemed microscopic. Working with iwebcontent has opened my eyes to some great options. I can say wholeheartedly that I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the rest of the team.” Besides writing, Ashley enjoys eating good food, animation, drawing and video gaming. She plans to apply to UT Austin’s Michener Center for Writers program in the near future.
Senior Editor and Feature Writer
Paul Goetz studied literature and creative writing at the The University of Texas in Arlington. In Dallas, he worked as a Project Manager, Copy Editor and Content Writer in the digital marketing industry for seven years. This experience exposed him to all aspects of web marketing, from design to blogging to SEO. After moving to Austin, Paul worked in the insurance industry and as a freelance writer before joining the team at iwebcontent. “Finding creative ways for a company to reach their target audience has become a necessity in today’s digital marketplace. I embrace the challenge.” Paul also spends much of his time enjoying life with his wife, playing music and reading.
