Announcing Fineline’s 40-Year Anniversary
Indianapolis, Indiana, March 8, 2020: Fineline Printing Group is pleased to announce the 40th anniversary of the company’s founding. Fineline Printing Group, a solutions-driven printer, and minority-owned business, was founded by Richard Miller in 1981. It’s one of the largest providers of commercial print, fulfillment, mailing, and eProcurement services.
According to Miller, “We believe our success & longevity are attributed to the team’s ability to listen to each client’s individual perspectives. After working closely with clients, we provide smart, strategic solutions for all types of printing and eProcurement needs.”
After Miller learned as much as he could at Nabisco brands, he started Fineline with $13,000 and a small SBA loan. He took the step of certifying the company as a minority-owned business, both locally and nationally. Today, he serves on multiple boards supporting diversity and the business community including the Indiana Chamber Board of Directors and the MidStates Supplier Development Council.
Thanks to Miller’s lead, Fineline boasts 56 employees and utilizes over 70,000 square feet of commercial space. The advanced state-of-the-art equipment used in their facilities is capable of meeting every type of digital and commercial printing need. The company strives to provide the highest level of satisfaction and has aligned its organization to create capabilities around advanced technology and improved processes. They continue their motto of: We will not ask for your business until we can improve it.
Their services include:
- Strategic print services with professional consulting
- Variable data printing
- Offset printing
- Promotional Products and Apparel
- Secure Mailing and fulfillment
- eProcurement software
For the past 40 years, Fineline has become one of the leading commercial graphics and mailing providers in the Midwest. Fineline is also committed to sustainability without compromising the quality of their products. The company has continued efforts to explore waste reduction, recycling, ink usage, chemical usage, and supply sourcing.
In addition, Fineline continues to focus on the goals of fostering diversity through contributions to local, national, and regional diversity programs. Our company will also work hard to pursue different services and certificates. This includes variable data printing, eProcurement services, and SOC2 certifications.
Miller said, “As we look toward future generations, we are focused on sustainability of renewable resources, protecting client data, and being an innovative company that continues to support our local & communities. With our eyes on new beginnings within a long-standing culture, my son, Ric Miller, carries this mission to the next generation as our new President.”
As the company celebrates its 40th year, leadership wants to thank its exceptional employee teams and its customers for their contributions and support, without which Fineline would not be the company it is today!
