Jonathan Gordon

CEO/Founder

East coast native Jonathan Gordon attended Ithaca College, studying film production. He started out as a salesman for a leading wholesale apparel company, but his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own company, Julie Ann Apparel. Their ecommerce division became a thriving website. Out of necessity for reasonably priced, quality content, he developed iwebcontent. “Through well-written content we help clients engage their customers, build their brand, and develop leads.” Jonathan lives in Plano, TX, with his wife Julie and their two Labrador retrievers, Sam and Chase. When he’s not on a meeting with a client, he can be found at the dog park or taking photos.

Karen Tunnell

Creative Director

Karen Tunnell, iwebcontent’s Creative Director, received her B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Texas. After positions as copywriter with several DFW retailers, she launched a 20-plus-year career with JCPenney as Senior Copy Manager for web and direct mail. Karen joins iwebcontent with diverse experience in writing, editing, project management and creativity. “Content is more than just spell check and keywords. It’s also the voice of your company speaking one-on-one with your customer.” Karen and her husband Steve live in Plano, TX, with their chocolate lab, Emily. What does the ardent writer do in her free time? She’s working on the fourth of her three published novels.

Julie Gordon

Project and Listing Manager

Julie Gordon is a Project Manager and in charge of topic and keyword research plus listing distribution for iwebcontent. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Psychology. Julie loves the diverse content she encounters through her contribution to the company. “Not only do I have the opportunity to support my husband’s business, I get to help other small companies thrive, while learning something new and exciting in the process.” When Julie's not researching blog topics, she loves to read, stay active with Tabata training and weight lifting, spoil her 2 beloved labs, and of course, brag about her two successful sons.

Michael Mallory

Social Media Manager

Michael attended the University of Texas at Austin where he studied English literature and psychology. He has spent the last decade creating original content, developing advertising strategies, and helping startups monetize social media. Before joining iwebcontent, he worked at the fascinating and bizarre intersections of advertising technology and politics. The best part of joining the iwebcontent team, besides his colleagues? “To be able to write, do some graphic design, and all the data analytics stuff. As a creative person, it doesn’t get any more ideal.” He currently lives in a small house in the piney woods of East Texas with his beloved black Labrador, Daisy.

Aaron Sonego

Account Manager

Aaron Sonego’s 12-year career in wholesale diamond sales has allowed him to travel the world, and work within many different markets. This priceless experience has given him countless skills that translate seamlessly to the digital marketing arena. He is dedicated to maintaining long-term business relationships. “Ensuring that my clients are happy with the services and products I am selling them is of the utmost importance to me.” As a resident of Richardson, Texas, Aaron loves being outdoors with his lab-beagle mix, Holly. He also enjoys spending time with his family and feeding his passion for music by attending local concerts and adding to his extensive record collection.

Paulina Flores

Web Development Specialist

Paulina is a native of Imperial Valley, CA. She earned her degree in Digital Graphics Design Engineering at CETYS University, Mexicali, B. C., Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Management at City University of Seattle. She has years of experience as a freelancer in web development for a variety of B2B and B2C clients. When asked about her recent position at iwebcontent, she said, “I know a lot of my work is behind the scenes, but that’s okay. I really enjoy being able to use my technical know-how to solve web issues for our clients.” Paulina lives at home with her family in the Golden State. When she’s not taking care of her menagerie of cats and dogs, she collects and solves Rubik’s cubes and other twisty puzzles.

Kim Turtenwald

Content Manager

Kimberly Turtenwald, attended Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee where she studied editing and publishing. She began her career in the website content field at Demand Studios for several years before becoming a writer for iwebcontent in 2009. In her years with the company, she moved through the ranks from writer to editor to her current position as Content Manager. “It’s amazing to watch the transformation from a few simple keywords to a full piece that helps our clients achieve success. We’re making a difference and that’s a great feeling.” Kimberly, a Wisconsin native enjoys camping trips, reading and spending time with her three children.

Jessi Cortinas

Project Manager

Jessi Cortinas brings her writing, editing and management skills to her role as Project Manager for iwebcontent. She is also devoted to bettering the way people communicate in the business world and as a whole. She attended The University of North Texas for Journalism/Communication and has been in the world of online business and content for 4+ years. She is currently working on her first Science Fiction novel and enjoys nature, dancing, cooking and getting to the core of what makes people individuals. With the heart of a poet, the drive of a salesman and the creativity of imagination itself, Jessi excels at everything she attempts.

Meg Moore

Feature Writer and Editor

Meg Moore received her BA in English Literature from Texas Woman’s University as part of her lifelong dedication to reading and writing. Her career as a content writer began while she was still in college, and she has continued working in the field since graduating in 2013. “I love writing, and this job allows me to challenge myself in ways I never thought possible. Every day presents me with an opportunity to learn something new.” Meg currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas, and when she’s not working for iwebcontent, she spends her free time writing science fiction and fantasy or drawing and painting.
